Steps

  1. 1Take out the trash and the floor mats. Shake the mats outside and vacuum the seats, the carpet and the gaps between seats.
  2. 2Wipe the dash, doors, console and steering wheel with interior cleaner on a cloth. Clean the inside of the windows last.
  3. 3Open the windows for a few minutes to let fresh air in.
  4. 4Put the mats back and give them one or two light mists of scent. Keep it off the dash, screens and leather.

    A strong scent in a small car can be too much. Start with one or two sprays.

  • Spray, vent or hanging

    Sprays are for a quick refresh. Vent clips and hanging ones last longer.
