Homemade bubble mix

Makes about 7 cups10 minutes, plus overnightEasy

Steps

  1. 1Pour the water into a wide tub, then add the dish soap slowly so it doesn't foam up.
  2. 2Stir in the glycerin or corn syrup gently. Foam on top pops bubbles, so don't whisk.
  3. 3Cover it and leave it overnight. Resting makes the bubbles stronger.
  4. 4Dip the wand, lift it slowly and let the breeze or a gentle breath do the rest. Keep it outside, where spills won't make floors slippery.
  • Non-toxic and washable

Look for non-toxic on the label. Washable formulas come out of clothes more easily.

  • Spill-proof for little hands

A spill-proof tub with the wand inside saves most of the bottle when it gets dropped.

  • Damp, still days

Bubbles last longest when the air is damp and still. Early morning or just after rain is perfect.
