1. Mocha

    1 tbsp syrup + 1 espresso

Top with hot milk. More syrup for a sweeter cup.

  2. Chocolate milk

2 tbsp per glass of milk

Stir well, or shake it in a jar with a lid. Cold milk works best.

  3. Strawberries

    A drizzle over a bowl

Valentine's, sorted. Chill the berries first so the syrup sets a little.

Chocolate milkshake

Serves 25 minutesEasy

Method

  1. 1Squeeze a swirl of chocolate syrup inside two tall glasses.
  2. 2Blend the ice cream, milk and the rest of the syrup until smooth but still thick.
  3. 3Pour into the glasses. Add a splash more milk if it's too thick to drink.
  4. 4Top with whipped cream and sprinkles, and serve with straws.
  • Syrup, sauce or fudge

Syrup is usually cocoa and sugar, and pours cold. Sauce and hot fudge usually add cream or butter, so they're thicker and best warmed.

  • Cocoa near the top

The higher cocoa sits in the ingredients, the more chocolatey it tastes.

  • Squeeze bottle or jar

Squeeze bottles for drizzling and milk; jars for spooning and warming.
