1. Commute coffee

Cold brew + milk + ice

Fill it to the top. Less air keeps it colder for longer.

  2. Hot soup

    Warm the bottle first

Fill it with boiling water for a few minutes, tip it out, then add the soup.

  3. Infused water

A few slices + cold water

Citrus, berries or cucumber. Change them every day.

Keep your reusable bottle fresh

10 minutesOnce a weekEasy

Steps

  1. 1Take the lid apart, including any seals and straws, and soak the pieces in warm soapy water.
  2. 2Add the baking soda and some warm water to the bottle, close it and shake. Scrub the inside with the long brush.
  3. 3Clean the lid and straw with the small brushes, paying attention to the threads and seals.
  4. 4Rinse everything well and leave it apart and upside down until it's completely dry before you close it.
  • Wide or narrow mouth

A wide mouth takes ice and is easier to clean. A narrow one is easier to drink from on the move.

  • Insulated or not

Insulated bottles keep drinks cold or hot for hours. Plain ones are lighter.

  • A lid that comes apart

Lids with seals and straws trap moisture. Look for one that comes apart so you can wash every piece.
