1. Make it last

    Lotion first, then mist

Scent holds better on moisturized skin. A matching lotion is best.

  2. Hair spritz

    1 spray, from arm's length

Use a hair and body mist, onto the lengths rather than the scalp.

  3. Bag spritz

    A travel-size bottle

One refresh in the afternoon. Keep the cap on so it doesn't leak.

Layer a body mist

2 minutesEvery dayEasy

Steps

  1. 1Right after a shower, smooth a matching or unscented lotion over your arms, neck and shoulders.
  2. 2Hold the mist about 8 inches away, spray a light cloud in front of you, and step into it.
  3. 3Add a spray to a scarf or sweater, where scent lasts longer. Test an inside seam first, since some fabrics mark.
  4. 4Refresh after a few hours. Mists are light, so it's fine to use them again during the day.
  • Lighter than perfume

Body mists have less fragrance oil than perfume, so they're softer and last a few hours. Spray freely.

  • Scent families

Fresh and fruity for summer, floral for every day, warm vanilla and amber for cooler months.

  • Matching sets

Many mists come with a lotion or body wash in the same scent. Layering them makes it last longer.
