Steps

  1. 1Wash the dispenser and pump in warm water and let them dry.
  2. 2Pour in the water first, filling the bottle about four fifths full. Water first stops the soap foaming up as you pour.
  3. 3Top up with the liquid soap, leaving room for the pump, then put the pump on and tip the bottle gently to mix. Don't shake it.
  4. 4Pump a few times to get it going. Make small batches and use each within a couple of weeks, washing the bottle in between.
  • Liquid or foaming

Liquid soap is thicker. Foaming soap is already mixed with water, so it goes further, but it needs a foaming pump.

  • Gentle for busy hands

If your hands get dry, look for glycerin or aloe, and fragrance-free if your skin is sensitive.

  • Refill, don't rebuy

Refill pouches and big bottles cost less per wash, and keep one nice bottle by the sink.
